How do I pack my computer, I don't have the original boxes?
You are not alone. Most people don't have the room to keep large bulky boxes around. We handle the problem by working together with you. To save time and money and ensure the safety of your data you may want to first back up your data, disconnect cords and load them along with discs and peripherals into a well-labeled carton. On move day we'll wrap your cpu, monitor and printer in pads and transfer them safely in our large canvas lined bins. Visit to pack or not to pack.

All movers are not created equal. We suggest you take the following measure to find the mover that is right for you.
- Request references on individual firms.
- Check the Better Business Bureau's website at www.bbb.org, to see if the company has a "BBB Reliability Report".
- Ensure that the mover is in good standing with the Moving and Warehouseman's Association at www.moving.org and local consumer affairs offices.
- Most importantly, Ask friends for references.
- When speaking to your perspective mover, ask about their hiring process. Some companies use what is called "pick-up help." These workers are not trained movers nor have their backgrounds been screened.
- Check to see that they were in last year's yellow pages.
- Ask how many years they have been in business.
- Ask if they guarantee the accuracy of their estimates.
- Ask about crew punctuality and damage claim ratios.
- Ask what equipment is standard on their vans. A professional company will have vans equipped with moving pads, dollies and security straps plus specialty equipment for items such pianos and appliances.
- Visit one of their offices.
- A company with a good reputation will not knock the competition in order to look good.
- A well established company will comply with standard government regulations as a business and employer.
- Beware of companies who deliberately use vague details and low hourly rate quotes. You should have enough specific information to compare and if the rate quoted is considerably lower than that of other companies you may want to double check references.
- Ask for the company's Department of Transportation and Motor Carrier license number, and verify the numbers at www.safersys.org.
