The most convenient storage plan is to let Beltway do it for you. This is what we term "Regular Storage". Under this plan the movers come to your house, pack and otherwise prepare your goods for storage and load them on the van. A list is made of all the items to be stored. The list makes note of the condition of the items at the time of loading. A copy of this list is provided to you for your protection and future reference. Once at the warehouse, your goods are loaded into containers referred to as pallets. When these pallets have been safely loaded and sealed, they are cataloged and put into place until you arrange to remove them. Most of our storage is containerized for your protection. This type of storage offers security and privacy. The design of our storage allows for adequate ventilation between each container. Because the containers are stored in a high-ceilinged warehouse there are less likely to be climate problems such as those found in cement and block garage type buildings. Our warehouses are staffed 6 days a week for approximately 12 hours per day. They are equipped with the latest in sprinkler systems, burglar alarms and closed circuit TV monitors. Beltway Movers spares no expense or effort in assuring the safety of the belongings you entrust to our care. The storage charges are run on a monthly basis—starting on the date you open your account. There is no minimum time limit for your stay but there is a one-month minimum charge. Once you have satisfied that charge, we will break your charges into half month or 15 day increments. Beltway also offers "Do it Yourself Storage" or Mini Storage. Self-Storage allows you to provide all the labor and transportation needed to bring your items into storage. This will mean substantial savings but you will still have the advantages of full service warehousing. You can back your vehicle to within 10 feet of your storage room or pallet. If you bring your goods by car and/or trailer, we offer street level loading areas. You can load your pallet as you see fit. If stacking is necessary, be sure and put the larger, heavier items on the bottom and the lighter, more fragile things on top. Place things you will need soon near the front of the storage unit. We have a substantial supply of protective blankets for the protection of nicely finished or upholstered items. We also offer a complete line of packing materials for goods-from china and crystal to mattresses and box springs. We have special racking designed for upholstered items and even 20" x 14" tubes for the storage of valuable carpets. If you are not moving, why do you need storage? The uses for our facilities are endless. How about storage of snow gear--ice skates, sleds and ski equipment--during the summer? Or, boating accessories and lawn furniture during the winter months. If you are selling your home, it will show much better if you empty it of everyday clutter. If you are redecorating-we have just the place for you to keep things, which are not quite old enough to throw away, or which you may want at a later date. When the kids are home from college-our facilities are great for keeping dorm and apartment "extras" until they are needed again. The possibilities go on and on. We will even accept and hold shipments for you "out of town furniture buyers" and deliver them when your collection is complete.
